...Leon did not like goodbye's, very much a man of the moment with "a laugh that lit up every room". With a fascination for "anything with a clutch" his desire to drive for a living was developed from a very young age; and it is very fitting that the last 13 years of his life were spent working as a drayman for us at Wincle Beer.
A passionate and committed family man, his love for his children, wife and extended family was beautifully illustrated in the readings, images and songs chosen in the service to reflect a life lived with a voracious appetite for love, fun and laughter.
We walked out of the crematorium to the sounds of "Always look on the bright side of Life" by Eric Idle and you couldn't help but smile and reflect further on the reading that we had just heard.
